Well, you're just amazing. Already a nice place to be, MetaFilter is quickly becoming Must-See HTTP. Now I'm really disappointed we won't be sleeping together at SXSW. :)

As one of only seven Metafilter readers on this date of December 10, 1999, I'd like to commend you on the fine job you've done, Matt. Although I still wish the user numbers were sequential so that I would be listed as user 4, instead of my randomly-generated number of "4851".
