Didn't I already read this? September 24, 2001 10:44 PM Subscribe
Don't get me wrong, here. I'm a big fan of Jeffrey Zeldman, and I have to agree he's been doing some damn fine writing lately. But does that mean that every one of his "My Glamourous Life" posts going to get a front page link of their very own from now on?
If you think about it, they probably shouldn't. I mean, why should they? Anyway, I agree with webmutant, who said:posted by sylloge at 1:06 AM on September 25, 2001
I was kinda wondering about that myself. Lord knows I love him, but I think Jeffrey probably agrees himself that it's a bit odd. If we have to pick a person whose every writiinig we will link to, ought it not be Matt?

By way of trying to defend myself (incidentally I took no offence from this so no worries there), I linked it because I thought it was a fairly unique piece of prose so soon after the event.
With hindsight its easy to see that a fair proportion of Mefi posters and readers would already know about Zeldman and his writings.
