Ok, ok, this was not my very best idea. It was inspired by a couple things. A MetaChat thread that asked users to compare their real life with their online personas made me realize I was a dick online a more than I am in person. Davy also pointed this out to me in a MeTa thread. Also, Quonsar defended and kind of apologized to Etheral Bligh on MetaChat. So I figured if he could do that, the least I could do was to apologize to Davy and Alex, and throw in various obscure derails and mocking of which I have been guilty. But I should have just emailed people.

In case anybody else failed to grasp a simple quip, I know this is (or WAS) the apology thread; I was referring to other threads where a whole lotta apoplexing been goin' on. (Not that I would know anything about any of that, surely.)

History: my comments on "apoplexy" were answering this. Specifically: "A MetaChat thread that asked users to compare their real life with their online personas made me realize I was a dick online a more than I am in person."

One night a husband is lying next to his wife but he can't sleep.
