Over at Wired News, there's a new article from(our very own) Lore Sjoberg, and it just happens to touch on the topics of opinion, the internet, and posters. And color me dumb, but I catch a hint of the old Metafilter ethos reflected.

Sweeeeet, but too short. (Reminiscent of the Flame Warriors, too.)

Wow he's really cute. I, for one, welcome our new Brunching...

Ah forget it.

Good article, but it needs more cowbell. (someone had to say it)

I'm a fan. And a vegetarian. Not a Rottweiler.

What did you expect? Of course a guy named Lore would get published by Wired! It needs more cowbells though.

I read it as "indigent vegetarians."

there's an ethos now?

Yes, harvesting the unsuspecting public at large for cash money!

I couldn't resist saying that, given that it was Quonsar who posed the question.

I want to see Lore Sjoberg and Todd Lokken kick Thor's ass -- they're MeFi's Norse superheroes

"I for one...." and "...cowbell" have now jumped the shark. We must find new catchphrases.

Is "we must find..." too lame? It rings with the kind of existential angst that seems to pervade my whole, you know, shit.

Say what you want about Metafilter Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos. Those guys are nihilists!
