Does Mefi's posting and commenting traffic slow down somewhat at the weekend? October 13, 2001 10:49 AM   Subscribe

Is it me, or does Mefi's posting and commenting traffic slow down somewhat at the weekend? I would have thought it would shoot up as everyone is at home. Or is Mefi actually the weapon of choice for bored people looking for a distraction from work?

I think it's the later, in my experience most message board type places slow down on the weekend.

The visitor traffic goes down to about 60% of normal on weekends vs. weekdays, and the highest traffic times are during business hours.

So, this site is definitely "the great work avoider."

On weekends, people don't visit, which is fine. It's sunny and beautiful out!

Probably should go in features, but is there a way of making the time on each post mimic the local time of the member...for example, it's 08:10 PM where I'm sitting...
