BatshitInsaneUpdateFilter. Anyone who followed this thread and has been wondering how we managed to survive the predicted 5/25 catastrophe: You'll be pleased to know that a well-meaning extraterrestrial civilization saved us. You know, because of the succesful application of collective consciousness. Or something. Anyway, whew!

I had forgotten we were all supposed to be dead. Thank Kang and Kodos we aren't.

Marge: [into microphone] Hello, police? This is Marge Simpson. My husband is on a murderous rampage. Over.
[shot of Chief Wiggum listening]
Wiggum: [sighs] Well thank God that's over. I was worried there for a second. [turns off radio]

In a world gone mad, only a lunatic is truly insane.

I love these things. If they occur, obviously the prophet was right. If they don't, obviously the prophet's actions prevented the catastrophe.

There's just no way to be wrong, is there?

Kudos for raedyn for guessing the right excuse for why it didn't happen.

As I understand, Eric was given information on "certainties" that remained fluid. They could go either way, depending on how the dominate world "forces" here would respond, those with "power", using collective, directed intent/prayer, and, of course, those beings we call ET's, hostile and benevolent.

God I love this shit. I just wish the nutbags would learn to pluralize ET. Their punctuation detracts from my enjoyment of the delicious lunacy.

What do you mean? Those beings belong to ET.

"The link between nuclear weapons and the presence of space civilizations on Earth has been clearly established by the author of “The Science of the Extraterrestrials”."

This was my favorite part.

WTF? It was my Cock Of Doom© that stopped it.
