Not bad for two months, folks. Not freakin' bad at all. posted by cortex at 5:46 PM on August 29, 2006
The black is now my second favorite MeFi location, after the green. The only disappointment I have is that I can't check it every two hours and have a dozen new songs, as I can with the other sites.
I've been waiting until I get a microphone to do some new recording, but since everyone seems to enjoy the amateur recordings, myself included, I might have to join the fun with my [shudder, gasp] PowerBook internal mic.
Keep it coming, everyone! posted by danb at 5:51 PM on August 29, 2006

I once spent two hours getting a tattoo while the artist listened to that Proclaimers album, over and over and over. posted by InfidelZombie at 9:50 AM on August 30, 2006
So, three times?
And that album wasn't bad. Melodic folkpop, some toe-tappers, nice compositions across the board. The next one, though—ech. posted by cortex at 9:54 AM on August 30, 2006

cortex, I think you should write a song about every single post in the blue. And also the grey. And the green:
My Computer Crashed
My computer crashed
and all my files are ash
please won't you help me resurrect
my files?
My Boyfriend Is A Jerk
My boyfriend is a jerk
He will not go to work
And Tuesday I caught him sleeping with my Mom.
Do you think I should dump him?
Also, you should write a song about every single comment on Metafilter.
Not Bad For Two Months
Not Bad For Two Months, Folks
Not Freakin' Bad At All
When The Music Comes A-Callin'
You Know You Better Return The Call.
And then you should write a song about writing songs about Metafilter:
MetaMusic
Meta, Meta
Meta MetaMusic
Meta, Meta
Meta MetaMusic
I Love MetaMusic.
And so do I. Kudos to all who have uploaded tracks.
