jeffj was very thoughtful, and arranged a round of tequila shots for the early attendees - he didn't show up until after 10. klangklangston and holyrood, those for whom the meet-up was arranged showed up fashionably late. I left around 10:30 so the dishy stories will have to come from someone else.

By the way, I want to say that Vancouver was the nicest city I've ever been to, with the friendliest natives. Special shout-out to mock, who found me both a, shall we say, organic goods purveyor, and some of the best pizza I've ever had.
