I'm looking for one or more past AskMe threads in which people shared how weight-gain or weight-loss affected the way they were treated by other people. I know I've read these stories, but I'm just not finding them. It's possible that the they were shared in threads that weren't actually about obesity, but how others perceive us. Can somebody with better search skills help me?

That's not the thread I was thinking of b33j, but in a way it's better. I'm not sure why it wasn't showing up in my searches, though. I think I was trying to be overly clever in my search terms. Thanks.
