Scotland Meetup

What's going on with the Scottish meet-up? Looks like there's lots of new blood, and most prefer Edinburgh, so... let's do something here. December 15th, 16th or 17th seems like the best bet, unless people are free this weekend.

I can make any date before the 20th. If that's not possible I'll be back in January.

I can make it any day up to the 21st, or this weekend. Just pick a time and place Marquis, or we'll just do what we did in the last thread and confirm we're available to no avail...

Can the Weegies make it in to Edinburgh on a Friday night, or is a Saturday better?

And any further ideas for where? I realise I'm the one whose resident here, but I only ever go to the Waverley to drink and there are no snacks on hand.

I'm fine for whatever, Friday the 15th Edinburgh sounds fine, but there are trains back north to consider and i'd rather the less drunk, earlier trains :)

I can't do this weekend, but I can do next weekend, definitely, barring anything extremely important that I've totally forgotten about. Friday or Saturday (15th or 16th) would do me fine. In terms of where – I'm hardly in Edinburgh at all, but how about the bar in the Cameo?

Oh, and By The Grace Of God – are you a Dundonian native, or a transplant? Only I was efter a nice peh, not to metion a few words with jenleigh ...

Would this properly be the Scottish meet up, the Scots meet up, or the Scotch meet up? I'm assuming that by the end it will be the latter.

I have a slight preference for Saturday, but would make it on Friday as well.

Sigh.

So Len mentioned the bar at the Cameo cinema. How about meeting there on Saturday (16th) at 5pm? If time or location don't suit you, speak up, but please provide an alternative.

Okay - Saturday the 16th, 5pm, Cameo bar (which is attached to the cinema)!

All are welcome, from near and far. High roads & low roads, etc.

I'll send out an email with my phone number as well - if you're going to be really late, maybe send me a text to make sure we're still there and not off grazing at another liquid pasture.
