Hello Vancouver people, I'll be in Vancouver this Monday evening and wondered if someone is up to go for a beer / food?

I realize you all just had a meetup, but if someone perhaps wants to show a nice bar to a visiting European that would be great!

Heh, I knew proposing this on a Sunday might not be the best idea... So any suggestions? I'm staying in the Century Plaza, which seems to be quite central (never been to Vancouver before). Anything fun around there?

It is pretty central. The Fountainhead is just around the corner; the Gerard Lounge at the Sutton Place is even closer, though it's a bit expensive. Pub row on Granville is just three blocks away, so there's lots more to choose from.

I was recently at the nelson cafe and was pleased to note that they have cheap pitchers of beer and reasonable pub grub. it's within easy walking distance, so I vote we go there at 7pm on Monday.
