When you favorite a comment you will see a "remove from favorites" link where you previously saw an "add to favorites" link. Try it. I don't know anything about workfriendly personally.

As far as I know, there is no mefi/workfriendly connection; seems like some folks who read mefi use it, and google indexes workfriendly, and consequently some of the site ends up getting ad-hoc mirrored by same.

I can't quite tell whether or not that last comment was in snark or not, given past reactions to suggestions to make MeFi more professional-looking with white backgrounds instead of Blue/Green/Grey. On the upside, at least the links in that script seem to be grey and black, rather than the mildly jarring bright lime green/blue links on black text you get if you change your profile settings to display white backgrounds for everything. So, thanks! *grins*

kch: looking at the admin log, it seems like Matt deleted something from the thread; sounds like that's the same thing you unfavorited, and the timing was just right to make it seem like cause-and-effect. The behavior you're describing isn't normal—you can't unfavorite someone else's favorite, unless something is deeply borked.
