I bought my son a Backyardigans CD, and he will listen to nothing else in the car. So, as a result, I have this song playing over and over in my head:

Eureka! Eureka,
When you find-a what you seek-a
Eureka, Eureka
Everybody shout
Eureka, eureka, eureka, eureka!

Eureka! Eureka,
It's a word from ancient Greek-a
Eureka, eureka
Everybody shout
Eureka!

It's the best dang word
Eureka Eureka
That we have ever heard
Eureka Eureka
When you're just about to freak-a
shout it out, Eureka!

Eureka!

It's a scientist's delight
And we do pronounce it right
when you take-a that first peek-a
shout it out, Eureka!

Eureka! Eureka,
We'll sing this song a week-a
Eureka, eureka
Everybody shout
Eureka!

Eureka! Eureka,
From the top of the highest peak-a
Eureka, eureka
Everybody shout
Eureka!

It's the perfect thing to shout
when you're diggin' treasure out
when you find-a what you seek-a
shout it out eureka

It's the word you'll hear us shriek
when we find the the bones we seek
When you take-a that first peek-a

It is time to shout
Eureka!
It is time to shout
Eureka!
It is time to shout
Eureka!

It's too goddam easy to post to MetaTalk. There should be a notice that comes up when you try to post that says "Do you really want to do this? Because if you're just farting around, a boxing glove will emerge from the computer and punch your lights out."

If they're upset over President Gen. Pervez Musharraf's multiple titles, they are gonna go apeshit over Mr. President Dr. Steve Elvis America...

(one clarification: Is "Pervez" his first name or just another title?)

puke & cry (/yrc & ekup), how did you manage to do this? I DO NOT UNDERSTAND.

(Also, your ampersand apparently does not want to cooperate.)

"It's too goddam easy to post to MetaTalk."

I respectfully disagree. This morning I would have liked to post a confirming Denver Meetup post with dates/times/locales, however I was DENIED, since my 7-day posting limit has yet to expire.

and then I come here and find THIS SHIT?!

It's too goddam easy to post to MetaTalk.

And it's too goddam easy to make snarky comments on MeTa threads.

See! For every action there's an equal and opposite reaction, yin and yang, thus the universe is kept in balance etc. etc.

Pervez are put on a national registry so you can tell if one of them moves into your neighborhood.

Sometimes, you delete first and ask pointed questions ("Is this user a complete asshat?" "How does a person like that sleep at night?" "Seriously, wow, they're actually wholly composed of semi-sentient mucas? For real? Gross!") later.

That guys is probably the best spammer we've ever had. Not only did he self link and spam, but he responded to the flames with MORE SPAM!

some guys don't get it. they just keep trying to fight back and salvage their rep, presumably to be able to keep posting spam in the future. others just back off, damage having been done, and never reappear. Not our hero, though! He'll just take what time he still has to keep posting more helpful health food advice! The man has the tenacity of a rabid pitbull, and I respect that.

Or at least, I respect it AND I also want him to fuck off and die.
