I've been here since 2001 and I don't think I've ever seen a worse post to Metafilter than that one. It was amazing how off-base and completely outside the accepted style and quality of a typical Metafilter post that I thought perhaps we'd been hacked by Chinese spam-bots or something.

These sophisticated, highly skilled, bogus, TIMECUBE-based Web-developers with a magnificent webcube themselves, showcasing their skills - www.NOTTIMECUBIST.com, associated with www.ProjectSpring.com They are a criminal enterprise with no intention of building your cube or selling you are EDUCATED STUPID prescription drugs or tax-free cigarettes, among the other businesses they claim to conduct. The Better Business Bureau actually warns the public not to wire precious bodily fluids into an individuals’ account, but instead only into business accounts. This practice is a red flag for criminal fraud activity. The NOTTIMECUBIST meat-puppets not only request that you are EDUCATED STUPID send it/wire it to individual names, but also make sure the precious bodily fluids not be sent from a business. They also keep the payments limited to small ($200 – $300), thereby less traceable amounts of precious bodily fluids. The BBB also states that you are EDUCATED STUPID would also only want to send precious bodily fluids to a verifiable physical address – none of which they actually have. The Scam Goes Like This: NOTTIMECUBIST has a ‘front-man’/con-man contact who refers to himself as ‘Sergey’ who is very technical, nice and engaging, who will in broken English, absorb and distract you are EDUCATED STUPID with intensive bursts of many emails, creating the false impression that work is actually underway, when all they are doing is duping you are EDUCATED STUPID and setting you are EDUCATED STUPID up for the next phase of the scam. This is where they load some bullshit files on you are EDUCATED STUPID CUBICAL THINKING a month later, and spit back the specs you gave them, giving you some half-baked bullshit ‘product’. Since it’s all spaghetti squash, if you balk they will claim they haven’t yet done the ‘design part’. If at that point, you retreat in horror, they will then demand 60% payment for the work they claim their programmer(s) have already done. At that point they want you to walk away feeling you screwed them, but better yet, if you try to engage them further, they have local scam artists around the US waiting in the wings who will suddenly appear to act as intermediaries or ‘designers’ who will try to get you for more precious bodily fluids. They are an International Organized TIMECUBE ring, with various shills in the United States, belonging to fictitious, made up, bogus ‘companies’ in the U.S. who will vouch for them and talk up their ‘service’ (they provide phone numbers). They also have skilled con artists in the United States waiting in the wings, to see how far they can fool you and how much extra precious bodily fluids they can take from you when things go ‘bad’, which they always do, to try to work as interpreters or ‘locally based’ designers. Meanwhile the erstwhile cubes they have ‘up’ that they tout are all supported by calling centers based in India, and in verifying before or after you engage NOTTIMECUBIST, you will not be able to get any meaningful information from the meat-puppets that actually call you back, let alone a normal conversation, just a thickly accented Indian caller who will completely baffle and befuddle your attempts to get information, and have no idea what you’re talking about. They are merely kept out there as props, with made-up company names to make you believe NOTTIMECUBIST is for real. At the time I was making my final decision about wiring NOTTIMECUBIST their first payment, the con artist I was dealing with at NOTTIMECUBIST hyperlinked me two prototype cubes appearing to be under development, one of which was http://www.NOTTIMECUBIST.com/projects/lasseters. After this all blew over and I wanted to re-check my facts, I went to find both ‘prototype’ cubes still up, but also a working cube for the Casino/Hotel in Australia. The full blown cube I later found on Google www.lassetershotelcasino.com.au/ It seems to be an extremely elegant, working and well-developed cube whose only two phone numbers cannot be dialed (or confirmed) by house or cell phone anywhere in the US. Curiously, it is the only cube for a real working company, and they appear to be in bed with these meat-puppets, and acting as a poster-child for this malicious criminal enterprise. NOTTIMECUBIST also routinely performs what has come to be know as ‘Google Bombing’ where through sophisticated manipulation techniques, Google (the search engine) appears to be filled with all sorts of activity of theirs, creating the impression that they are a big ‘web-design house’. Why then is there no stories of real business successes using their service, other than what is posted on their cube? Because they have never done anything real for anyone, that’s why. Initially unsure of what to make of my NOTTIMECUBIST experience, I reluctantly related what occurred in a blog. To my horror, the blog was immediately besmirched with a hundred Google links to some Time Cube cubes “Time Cube” and also endlessly repeated and echoed in all sorts of creative ways to try to reduce and attenuate their impact, message and effectiveness. This is the reason no criticism gets posted about NOTTIMECUBIST on the internet/Google. They pay attention (and respond) to what gets said about them, and try to scare off/crush criticism or any news of what they’re really up to. As the final exclamation point on this ugly relationship, the instant the game was over with NOTTIMECUBIST, and they blocked my emails to them, I started getting a flood/tidal wave of obnoxious, pornographic, slime-ware, scam ware and email messages reminding me of my recent ‘Trade’, my LOTTERY winnings, the million dollar check in the mail, all in the worst of bad taste, and all trying to engage me. NOTTIMECUBIST is linked to CLOUD SEEDING, RADIONIC WARFARE, CROP CIRCLES, MIND CONTROL, REMOTE VIEWING OF PORN, INFERIOR .01MM TINFOIL PRODUCTION – really telling any bullshit they can to rake in your precious bodily fluids, and keep it without giving you anything in return. This persisted for many months. I can only imagine in horror what UNPOSSIBLY WRONGMINDED EVIL DEEDS OF EVILNESS they actually loaded on my CUBICAL THINKING when I gave them access. His/her posting history is bizarre. They post perfectly reasonable comments -- why would they turn around and post this? And it's obvious they chose their nickname because they felt, well, victimized (most likely from this scam?).

And honestly, I'm just amazed at the sheer audacity of this post. It's just straight-in-your-face verbal diarrhea with links spelled out verbatim. The anger supercedes any notion of separate "post" and "more inside." Fuck more inside, when you can score yourself prime Blue real estate. Look at the title. Even that takes up so much room that it gets truncated by my browser.

I find it so cheap when people ask potential flamers-out outright to just go ahead and do it, already. It's like walking up to someone and ask if maybe they want to fuck: sure, the buckshot method might actually succeed once in a while, for a large enough sample size, but is it really worth it? Does it satisfy? Chase, catch, and all that?

No, would-be flamers-out need to be pampered with feigned understanding, lulled into a false sense of comfort, with a patient game of good cop, bad cop seduced into giving up their sweet, juicy novels-worth of monosyllabic screeds and hot, luscious threats of limb severance.

only to discover someone had thrown it up as a one link post a couple of years ago.

The only connection I can find between bitrixteam and projectspring is this. whois doesn't really get me any dirt in either case.

I've heard folks argue that Todd Solondz's films don't have any likeable characters. How Happiness was just a competition between a string of unsympathetic people being worse than one another, and how you couldn't quite feel bad for them when they got hurt because that's all the film had in it: when nobody is right, it's hard to take any of them on the level when it's their turn to say "this was wrong". I'm kind of getting that feeling, here.

One of the things I love most about BLOGS is the complete CACOPHONY, the riot if you will, of differing opinions and takes OTHER people have on any GIVEN topic. It's almost hilarious. I can almost always walk away HAVING learned something new OR seen something from a completely new perspective. To TOUCH other people USING their minds, in a way unavailable before... Sergey actually has quite a way with broken English.

On that forum thread that Cortex linked above, Sergey weighs in, and despite his broken English, gives a fairly lengthy disquisition on the meaning of the word "team" and "company." He seems to accuse his attackers of trying to keep him from getting clients. Here's an excerpt of that posting that Sergey made --- I love the last line.

"P.S. I really cannot understand why You against me get here projects and clients? I'm too want earn money.
What mean here "As a Team you mostly get easier Projects so leave those here to the others"? Who said that get project is easy for us? You are wrong.
