Somewhat unimportant but, why do projects under 10 posts look like this while using Opera?

It's just CSS weirdness with the width values on that box. We'll work on it.

This seems like as good a place as any to give a nod to this awesome site I found the other day which could be 100 years old to y'all but I'm excited to have just found it browsershots.org. You plug in your URL and select platforms and over the next 30 minutes with some distributed-computing razamatazz a bunch of strangers create screencaps and FTP them back to the site for your viewing (and debugging) pleasure. So freaking cool and did exactly what I needed for my site.

You can also view the queue which is interesting in its own right.

Oh, I forgot, i set my Opera settings to look like IE to most webpages, that might help. Totally worth it, imho. Also I didn't mean to indirectly insinuate that Matt H. wasn't coding for Opera, just that generally it seems a bit like a forgotten half-sister, no offense!

To be fair, it has 1% of the browser market for non-mobile browsers. On the other hand it's got the fourth largest market share. On the other other hand, that's like having the fourth largest air force.

Opera rocks, dude. Have you ever just stuck your finger on the zero key with opera? Try it sometime. LOVE the zoom page. Love the Speed Dial. People just don't understand Opera, and forget to code for it appropriately, is all.

Totally agreed. I wish more people would try it out. It's by far my favorite browser and I used to be convinced that nothing could separate me from Firefox.

People just don't understand Opera, and forget to code for it appropriately, is all.

The idea of having web standards is that you don't have to go around adding if/thens and browser hacks to get the page to look right in any specific browser (whether by a huge corporation or anyone else).

Though, to be fair, it's entirely possible you're seeing HTML or CSS written for a broken browser with a huge market share.

Opera for the PC is probably always going to be an idiosyncratic third-stream option for the holdouts for whom, if Opera wasn't an option, would be using Konqueror or iCab.

For non-PC platforms -- game consoles and mobile devices -- Opera is doing very well. And that's the real growth market. Especially since IE for Mobile is such a crippled bodge and Safari is constrained to the iPhone.

Hmm. Just noticed something. On Firefox 2.0.0.12 on FreeBSD, projects with more than a few votes causes the usernames to run into the comment box, like this.
