What's worse, an irrational Microsoft basher or an irrational Apple doubter?

Hmm... they cancel each other out. What's the difference between a rational microsoft basher and an irrational one, or are you saying anyone that bashes Micro~01 is irrational? Same goes for Apple.

P.S. Alan, that has to be the most interesting use of a profile page I've ever seen... turning it into your own blog...

You forgot Linux crusader.

Out of your choices, though, I say they're equally bad.

i'm just afraid that "there's a new imac out!" threads will soon outnumber "hey have you heard? 'my new filing technique is unstoppable!'" threads.

I think they (OS bashers) need to get a life, personally. It's about what suits your needs. Who gives a crap who uses what? The OS's each have their respective merits and limitations.

Speaking of Apple, did you guys see the new iMac was announced?

Seriously, though, I hereby swear off all MetaFilter OS Wars. Brothers and Sisters, won't you join me?
