Mumbai (India) meetup in May?

Any mefites living in Mumbai, India?

Wondering if there are any MeFites in India who'd like to meet up for a drink. No fixed date or location set. Preferably the second week of May.

I don't live in Mumbai, but set your co-ordinates in your profile to central Mumbai and any users who have done the same will show up as "nearby to you".

Damn damn damn damn damn. I think my mom and sis are going to be in Mumbai right about that time, but I may be starting a new job so won't be able to make it, even though I was looking forward to meeting Gyan and some of the other Mumbai Mefites.

Maybe the two of you can hook up? There's also another Mefite who happens to be a chef if I recall correctly residing in Mumbai, who I thought I had listed as one of my contacts, but can't find now, so hopefully he'll see this thread as well.

Here's keeping my fingers crossed! This will be the third meet-up on the subcontinent if I'm not mistaken (बल्ले बल्ले).

Oh, shoot. I suspected as much, just wasn't sure.

cyanide, the new job, if it does start in the second week of May, which is the time frame that they gave me, would mean that I'd have to stay put for at least six months without any leaves, so I think that's a bit out of the time frame you're suggesting. On the other hand, if they push the date back a little, say by a week or so, I just might be able to make the trip (might; it would be a little difficult to get tickets at the last minute), but hey--you're in Mumbai, so it's not like we can't meet up at a later date:)

Good to know there's someone close by, will definitely look you and Gyan up when I make the trip out there. (Are you a resident of Mumbai though, or just vacationing there?)

Born and living in Mumbai for the last 20 years. This thread's staying open for 6 months and I'm not going to give up a few cold beers for anything else; take your time.

Hmm. You are 12 miles out - that's about...19 km (somewhere closer to Town?). Only about 60 min via road :)
I'm game for a meetup if we can rustle up a few more.
Is there a way to customize the geocode distance calculator's range?

I stay in Malad. Different geocode locators give different co-ordinates. But yeah, waiting for a few more :)
