Followup: Amnesiac may have been a (gay) porn star January 21, 2002 4:50 PM   Subscribe

Here's an interesting follow up to this wonderful thread from August. Phillip Stauffen, a man suffering from
amnesia, may have been a gay porn star according to a man in France. Wait, it gets better. Inspector Steven Bone of the Toronto police will have to comb through the evidence... link from *cough* fark.com.

I was tempted to post a link to the just-announced first annual Fark vs SomethingAwful photoshop deathmatch as an FPP, but I think I'll just mention it here instead.

Why is this posted to MetaTalk? The origiinal post was properly in MeFi, this is a rather new development not really a double post. Is MeTa the proper venue of follow-up posts which some MeFi'ers would never see.

No, not really.

Note that it's now been posted to the main page. It's been linked back here but I think it belongs there.

I juggled the four options, FPP, MeTa, comment in old post, and not posting at all, and none seemed really great. I knew that I'd get flak for this no matter what. Frankly, I think it is a weak FPP, but is worth knowing about.

Actually -- I think it does belong here in MeTa, under the "Metafilter-related" category.

Think of it as a "Where Are They Now" special.
