Oh, hey, more apt than you know. The only band that ever made me bleed on stage was The Beat Meters. I think I had cut myself in a cooking accident, which was how I supported my music habit, but whatever. The stitches came open on stage, and I pretty well soaked my bass. It was badass.

Cool to hear the history of Music, and it's earlier format. Also, I hope a compilation album happens again some day. Great interview InfidelZombie! I liked how this one went more in depth about the way this specific musician's songs come together, as well as hearing about how bands work.

Thanks for putting this together, cortex. It always amazes me the range of music that I find on MM, so many styles, levels of production; and I'm always surprised that I like almost all of the songs that I hear when I drop by. This show's a great distillation.

Yeah, as usual this was top-notch. I would listen to a full 60 minutes of this. I guess that's like saying I would listen to ~53 minutes of MeFi Music, which I would also do.

God damn you guys, this is impressive. I'm just getting around to listening to the podcasts today.

I think I'm going to go ahead and try to switch over to all freely available music. The quality here is impressive and this is just one site!
