Search feature to sort links/comments by username?

Is it possible to add a search feature that would allow someone to sort links/comments made by username?

Yeah, I can do this. It takes a little bit of extra work to tease out every thread a person commented on, and what they said, but I think I can do it fairly easily.

I forgot to add: It'll probably be linked from a user's profile page, click on their link total will produce search results for every link they posted, comments I'd like to jump down to the permalink, but that'll take some extra work.

Can this functionality also be tied in to the main "Search" page?
