I'm going to the Dala concert at Grounds for Sculpture this Friday at 8PM. I have two (ish) spare tickets, and I was wondering if any local MeFites would like to come along.

I'd ask for a post-show meetup, but I'm guessing it's not going to be a huge show.

And yes, this is part of my detox.

As for how I came upon the tickets, my mom and I love the band, so she bought tickets for herself, my sister, and me. However, it turns out this is the second to last time my sister can go to her social group for teens with developmental disorders before she outgrows the program, so she's very sentimental about it. She'd rather go to the program than the concert, and my mom needs to drive her.

So, I now have two tickets, and a friend said "maybe" on one of them.

They're two Canadian girls who became friends in high school marching band, IIRC.

ah, i saw them open at a concert once. they're wonderful! i only wish i lived closer. hope you have fun!

Bah! I used to live really close to the Grounds for Sculpture! If I still did, I'd go with you. Alas, I've since moved to Brick City.

Well, I went with a friend who confirmed at the last minute and had one ticket left over.

I was the only one who clapped when they did their Bad Romance riff.
