Font Pony! I suggest using the same special CSS from the Famous Comic Sans Thread on the current Comic Sans Thread and any other Comic Sans Thread. As well as maybe any typography thread that mentions Comic Sans more than X times?

Since this thread is about the Comic Sansification of Comic Sans threads, shouldn't it also be in Comic Sans?

Woah, recursive black hole of comic sans.

Does anyone remember a really touching story involving comic sans which was posted as a comment and sidebarred a while back? I've scanned through the linked threads and can't spot it.

Now make every thread about pedophelia and statutory rape be in the "kids" font!

Yep there it is, my bad shoulda clocked it. What a tale...

If this happens automatically with every thread tagged "comicsans," it would be a hilarious joke to play on your mutual contacts.

Clearly pb's kryptonite is CSS ponies...

I first thought it said "fart pony," which also would've been pretty awesome.

Also redundant, as anyone who ever spent time around ponies could tell you.

Wow. That thread actually hurts my soul now. And to think I was trying to stand up for it (given the right circumstances)... Make it stop, please?

Is this something for which I would have to disable my own browser CSS convert-to-Helvetica option? Because as far as I'm concerned, the entire web has basically been Helvetica for the past ten years or so. What is this Comic Sans of which ye speak?
posted by meehawl at 4:24 PM on June 15, 2010

Helvetica is the one that has crazy symbols instead of letters right?

That sounds so boring.

Eight minutes to execution! THANK YOU PB! That's the fastest one of my suggestions here has ever been implemented! Then again, it's the ONLY one of my suggestions here has ever been implemented...

The Devil Tesla: "That sounds so boring"

It's all done in the best possible taste. Occasionally I relent and display everything in Gill Sans, just to mix it up.

No hideous font love on the iPad. Does anyone know any amusing anecdotes about Party LET?
posted by ecurtz at 6:13 PM on June 15, 2010

oneswellfoop, you're welcome, but to be honest it was all mathowie behind the scenes. I just knew which code to change. If it was up to me the whole site would be in 30pt. all-caps Impact.

Formula for a successful Wednesday Morning:

Go to your profile.
Set fonts to Impact size to 30.
Laugh maniacally while co-workers look on worriedly.
