Re: the cameras.

At the risk of sounding like a freaky wacko (I mean, more than is usual for me), I have this thing about pictures. Namely, that I can't stand having mine taken. You camera wielders aren't, like, Fascists about taking people's pictures whether they like it or not, are you? Cuz that would definitely scare me off....

Hm. I *might* be able to be there. What is the smoke-allowed status of both places? I don't think I've been to the Deluxe since my 21st birthday *cough*years ago, and I've never been to the Garage.

I assume the Garage is smoky, right? If so, the damned asthma means I can't be there. What about the Deluxe, though?

Dammit, I wish I could still go to smoky places!

(If you have any future events at the Pyramid by Safeco Field, I'm definitely up for that. Parking accessible and smoke-free, I think. At least, I've never smelled smoke when I've been there, admittedly off-peak hours.)

i believe the deluxe has smoking/non-smoking sections. The garage is pretty much all-smoking, although large and airy enough it might not be an issue.

How we going to recognize each other? The only one who's picture I've seen is jessamyn.

Then the question is -- would it be in the smoking or the non-smoking section? If it is the smoking section I will have to respectfully decline (but I understand if everyone else wants smoke).

As far as recognizing each other... perhaps those with color printers can print out a nice blue MeFi page. I bet most of us could recognize that from across the room.

I am trying to convince my husband to go with me, but he doesn't read MeFi.

Jeesh. I'm sorry I couldn't be at the Deluxe. I guess I missed out on meeting the whole kit and kaboodle. Still, it was great meeting Jessamyn, gluechunk, Mars and Patrick.
