Specifically referring to this FPP. There seems to be a small explosion of MLP posts in recent weeks.

I don't know. One man's My Little Pony is another man's Doctor Who or Game of Thrones. If there's a glut of things people on the internet are excited about which they post about here and which don't interest me, there doesn't seem to be a compelling reason to do much more than not read it.

Maybe three months worth of pony meat, if you eat it sparingly, but three months of ponies? You're gonna need commercial refrigeration for that.

Come and listen to a story 'bout a man named Mal,
A poor Independent, barely keepin' out of jail.
Then one day he was shootin' Reaver ass,
And out from the moon came a squad of Alliance.

Core, that is. That's no moon. That's a space station.

Well the first thing you know ol Mal's a smuggler,
Crewmen said, "Mal, fly away from there."
Said, "FOX Network is the place you ought to be,"
So they loaded up the West and they moved the Serenity.

To space, that is. Terraformed. Like California.

Well now it's time to say goodbye to Mal and all his crew.
And FOX would like to say to fans, "You know what? Hey, fuck you!"
You're all invited back again to this locality,
In comic books, the big screen, and the Blue Ray DVD.

The Whedonverse. Set a spell. Get your cult on.

Y'all come back now, y'hear?.

I'd personally like to see less video game FPPs, but what am I going to do about it, besides not make one?

When someone says they watch the MLP show, I feel the same way I would if we were discussing books and they said, "Well right now I'm reading The Cat in the Hat."

That being said, lots of people don't understand why I enjoy some of the things I do (Curb Your Enthusiasm comes to mind as being particularly divisive), so my likes and dislikes are not a great metric for FPPs.

I like MLP more than my 4-year old daughter (she's into Jake and the Neverland Pirates, now).

I am very thankful for the earlier MLP posts, without which I would not have discovered this wonderful show.
