The author was more on-target with MeFi than some of the other sites (Daring Fireball with no mention of Apple? And the Facebook/Guntanamo joke - Facebook IS Gunatanamo for non-Muslims)

Having installed somebody's deleted thread viewer add-on this summer, I have to say the MeFi one is spot-on. And I guess I'd hypothetically support the deletion, too.

I'm glad people like the piece. I was hoping I wouldn't offend with the slight Metafilter dig (if you can even call it a dig). I think it says something about what a great place the blue is that I couldn't really think of anything vicious, joke-wise.
