Customized Formatting in MeTa September 2, 2002 7:20 PM   Subscribe

My font 'n' size customization displays just fine on MeFi, but doesn't seem to take effect here in MetaTalk. I'd like to have the customization on both pages. Is there anything I can do, or is that just the way it's gon' be? I appreciate any suggestions. (Win 2000, IE 5.)

Hi boomchicka. I asked about the same thing once as well, and from what I understand, Matt hasn't implemented that feature just yet.

custom font families and sizes should work fine on both sites. Try logging into metatalk again.

Wahoo! Thanks, Matt. I'm constantly logged in, so I never noticed.

It worked for me too. If only I had thought of that before asking. Thanks ever so much!

i've also noticed that if you change your preferences on one computer, but you use metafilter from several, you have to go to your preferences screen on those other computers and (while not necessarily changing anything) hit the change button before any font differences take effect.

Yaaaaaay! Delicious and sober twelve-point font. Thanks, Matt!
