Merry Christmas, mathowie.

I am sure I am not the only one who would like to sincerely wish our host the best of the festive season and for the year to come. I have enjoyed greatly my short time here and look forward to much more. Thanks, kudos and congrats for the work you have done.

Yeah, why not? It's been a wonderful year for MetaFilter and many of us, no matter how corny it may seem, feel better if they just wish you well.

I suggest a "Wonderful Life" experiment where you shut down Metafilter for the holidays, while everyone reflects on what life would be like without Metafilter.
