I logged out and now I can't log back in

I logged out, since I'm not using my home computer, and now I cannot even see the site, much less log back in. I managed to sneak into meta and log on, but I can't get to the mefi front page. Help! [more inside]

When I try to get to the mefi front page I see this:

Dude. That's a shame. The whole front page of MetaFilter today is a tribute to all the hot, single ladies of the Portland area.

I wish you could see it. It's really amazing.

yhbc: I have no idea what that means.

Elwood, on a serious tip: dump your cookies. Then try again. If that doesn't work, buy some Oreos and wait for someone smarter than me to reply. That 's my best advice.

Okay, I'm home, problem solved by never logging out again. Coldchef: That was, well, cold. But it made me laugh when I needed it.
Hama7: Yeah, maybe saying 'sneak' borders on hyperbole. I basically just screwed around with urls until I got onto the server then linked over to meta. For some reason the same method didn't get me over to mefi. Ex: metatalk.metafilter.com/logon
