Why'd you delete my post?

I know I'm new to metafilter, but since when is there an 31337 club you have to be in to post to teh front page? I thought that was a mondo excellent link and I think you do the metafiller community a gr8 disservice by d3l33ting it.

the 31337 speak wasn't ME it was f'in MattHowie or whoever MAKING FUN OF me thinkging I'm some kind of Lunix user or whatever which I'm not I use aol on XP of course.

If your post is incoherent, which it certainly appeared to be, then, yeah, its going to get deleted. If you're going to post, then you kind of need to follow certain guidelines.

And you say that you're just "bing who i m". Huh? So you're someone who can't spell? Is that what you're trying to get across to us?

I am pleased to see the implementation of the "This post was deleted because:...." thing, though. More work upfront for he who is r00t, perhaps, but hopefully it'll pay off in the longterm.
