MeFiNYC - March 22^nd, 2003 pictures via adampsyche's camera, chicobang's camera, and we're waiting to see the rest. It went fairly well, although we wrapped up fairly early, 'cause the out of towners had to leave early.

Riffola is not only a handsome, simpáticodevil - I swear he looks Portuguese. Something in his fine features and smile - honestly. Though it got me thinking that, in fact, most handsome and beautiful Portuguese look Indian. Oh - and to think Bombay was casually given away as part of Catarina of Bragança's dowry (along with tea) when she married that English Nell-Gwynn-loving ne'er-do-well Charles II. And gave her name to Queens, where I believe Riffy lives today.

Either %50 of the people who showed up for that MeFi meet-up were former home-coming queens or there was some very selective camera work going on there.

Am I really supposed to believe that any scaled random representation of MeFi won't almost always be at least 70% male?
