Drink Matrix Powerade. Powerade: Very Real Power.

The Matrix Has You. 5-15. View episodes of the Animatrix now. Brought to you by Warner Brothers Pictures, who will also bring you "A Mighty Wind" this summer.

Also, download the Matrix Soundtrack from Apple's iTunes for your Apple iPod. Apple: Think Different.

Also, vote against Bush in 2004. Metafilter: We Won't Notice Advertising If It's Cool.

"Am I the only one who looks at the comments before clicking a link?"

No. Most of us never bother with the link at all.

Bush is going to win in 04'.

You have to admit, the whole point of the link would have been lost if it warned that it contained spoilers. The purpose of the page was to piss off those rabid matrix fans we all love to make fun of. ("Dude, it's like Eastern philosophy and Alice in Wonderland, how can you not see how great it is?")

Oh, and the girl in The Crying Game is a man.

why does Stan have that gold star?

It was bestowed upon him by our benevolent leader for this.

They aren't. Trinity doesn't die at the end, Niobe does (played by Jada Pinkett).

That list was satire written by someone who obviously hasn't seen the movie.

No, most of us never bother with the link, we just post a complaint to MetaTalk.

(by the way, eddydamascene's comment above is a spoiler).

Damn it! Should've read all the comments first. Carry on as I duck back into lurk land.

I should have been more clear about this. I hated the Matrix (yeah, I know it's fashionable), and reading a spoiler about it was no big deal.

You also mention the Crying Game. Now reading a spoiler about that film would have been obviously much worse, and that's my concern. There are still quality films that contain surprises, and a spoiler warning would be appreciated for those films.
