Oo, oo! I get it! It's some kind of code, right? Something about liking BBQ sauce?

More? Missing links? Oh get it; yes, MetaTalk serves its purpose, yet with less new members may seem more like cycling rhetoric. Where do I go to claim my prize; hope something that spins round and round: need to add a new wheel on my meta-cycle.
PS, discuss is "crossed out", so did I make an Oops.

I'm going to have to go with "near-useless in the grand scheme of things".

Sorry, I need to phrase that as a question.

It looks like a post from Land of the Lost. Which is to say, bad special effects. Pointless MeTa posts are shitty, but using blanks and strikethroughs in an attempt to spur action isn't going to help.

We're all in this MetaFilter Prison which has been in lockdown [for a year now?]. Nobody new can enter, we're just talking to the same people, saying the same things. And of course there's now some form of [institutionalized] insanity running through the place and MetaTalk is definitely where it comes closest to the surface. I can't help imagining all these non-members peering at MetaTalk [hi there, meech waves to you] giggling at the madness. Maybe Matt can start charging admission for people to come gawk at the stir-crazy going ons...if theres going to be no new members [and boy wouldnt people love to suck some new blood] maybe we should just have 'swap account week' - I bags being languagehat.

You know, ed, for all that we complained about the inanity and anti-climax of that puzzle, you have if nothing else created an entire long, nonsensical meme that many of us will never be able to forget. No matter how hard we try.

It's not a very well done job, to be sure... But frankly, I find the literal pile of silly threads to be utterly horrifying without even the need to consider what tone MetaTalk is. I hope this ludicrous stunt doesn't detract from the original message...

The fact we've discussed it about five times in the last three weeks is probably what detracted from it.

No no no. It means sleestaks! Lots and lots of hissing sleestaks!

Um. Er. Carry on.
