Site on road maintenance? April 18, 2004 6:17 AM   Subscribe

I'm trying to find a site I remember visiting (over a year ago) from Metafilter. It was a local government/organisations site (perhaps for New York) on road maintenance with photos of different kinds of problem pothole etc. and a form for submitting the location of a problem to the site owners. I've tried searching Metafilter and Google without success. Does anyone remember this?

there's this from the DOT itself: Street Defect/Pothole Repair Request Form (is that it?)

If I may tack another query onto this thread:

Where's that site that can turn your average NYT link into a NYT archive link that can be read without registering?

Slap on
ex=&en=&ei=&partner=GOOGLE
at the end of the NYT URL.

(At least I think it works.)

Hm. Not workin' for me right now, though I think it's on the right track with the partner argument.

You're thinking of the NYT Link Generator. Either cut 'n' paste or use it as a bookmarklet.
