For those who don't know, Filepile is a website, and it's run by the very cool Andre Torrez, and membership is closed and you're not supposed to talk about it, and also, somehow it involves beating up other men in an abandoned basement. As I'm not a member, I'm free to talk about it!

Astronauts are bad news I tell ya. Drivin' around at all hours of the night in their space-buggies, blasting that theme song from 2001: Space Odyssey. Hell, just last Fall an astronaut moved into our town, and simultaneously all the leaves starting falling off all our trees.

True story: I used to be a FilePile regular -- It just trickled out of my usual rounds, but late 2001 I was cruising around and wondered why I couldn't get to any of the news sites... so I hit FilePile, saw that someone had photoshopped a plane crasing into the WTC... then I looked out the window and saw the smoke.

It looks like my account has been purged, unfortunately. FilePile is great stuff.
