I'm susceptable enough to panic attacks as it is... I got a bit panicked though. Obviously some sort of server problem as I got:
1. SQL CF error
2. SQL CF - too much traffic
3. the dreaded, this domain does not exist.
I assume problem, problem gets worse, restart to be the diagnosis. Glad it's back!
I also had a - "Oh no MeFi doesn't like Mozzilla - I'm off to bugzilla' moment too.

i got this problem as i was posting a response to someone in another thread. first i got an SQL error -- server not found -- later the site would not refresh. basically the same thing. so, yah, the SQL server prolly choked on some bad chicken. posted by moz at 3:13 PM on July 19, 2001
I tried a few times and just kept getting 404 errors.
My guess? Mathowie was patching up IIS for that "Code Red" worm. posted by pnevares at 4:32 PM on July 19, 2001

I was patching for the red worm, even though I added the patch (I think) when it came out. So I repatched it just to be sure. It took two reboots to bring SQL server back to life though. posted by mathowie at 4:44 PM on July 19, 2001
