It's happening after each anonymous question. Funny, 'cause it's not consistent in the archives (new "October 27" after each anonymous today, but not on previous days).

now that's weird ... a screen shot of someone else's computer with a desktop picture that i have (and not a common one!), same browser i use, directed to ask metafilter. it's meta, all right...
