How long should i wait for my baseball shirt? December 13, 2004 10:03 AM   Subscribe

Metafilter Custom Baseball Shirts from Cafepress - How long does it take? I'm wondering if I'm being overly anxious since I put in the request in mid-October and I'm still twiddling my thumbs waiting for a link to be e-mailed to me.

D'oh. I haven't made one in many months. It's a pain, since I haven't really automated it, and have to prepare it by hand.

I wanted one/ordered one a long while back too, but kinda got the impression it was a pain and maybe you were waiting for a bunch of orders first, or had plain given up on the idea.

sorry that made little sense, I meant to ask, have I assumed correctly that you've given up on the idea since they all have to be made one-at-a-time like?

.

I don't have an Amazon wishlist, or an Xmas wishlist, or any wish list...just a Mefi shirt wish. Really.

Matt is probably still busy laundering all of the returned MeFi thongs.

Can any of the by-hand work (image and store creation, I assume) be taken over by a willing mefite volunteer?

so is the answer - I ain't gettin' one?
which is acceptable, or if I just have to wait until you get a chance to automate the process? which is also cool.

Just liked to know one way or the other.

hear hear -- I sent in a couple of requests a while ago.

If you're not doing it anymore, Matt -- and I totally understand -- can you tell us how to go about doing it? Is it possible to copy a design from one cafepress store to another, so I could modify it myself?
