I hear that someone, somewhere, is waiting for pics from the insanity that was the weekend long MeFi multinational meetup in Dallas. Chicobangs, doing his best Matthew Brady impression, managed to document it quite well. As per usual, I played second fiddle to his Cotton Ginnee.

At least you've had a shoutout. I've asked and asked, I've outshouted other people, I've gone to meetups. I've hung out on IRC, I've removed spam from the wiki, I've contributed to things and still nobody ever remembers my name.
One day, I hope that tucked into the bottom of a straggly piece of paper will be the word 'seanyboy'

Stav, for what it's worth, which I understand may be nothing at this late date, you came up often enough over the three days that if we had your phone number we'd have friggin' called you at what no doubt would have been a totally inappropriate hour. Seriously. (Also, your memory is obviously very short. Don't make me comb Vidiot's copious photo archives.)

Seanyboy, apologies. It was merely hubris, cumulative jet lag and huge alcohol what kept us from shouting you out.

Do we suck? Well, probably, yeah. That said, it was a sublime pleasure meeting everyone. I'm up for Rome next time. (Or Seoul, if we can swing it.)

I think ass shoutouts should become de rigueur for all MeFi meetups

we did that in Dallas last July, only we were completely naked.
Ufez's flashcard is now buried in a Cayman Island banks vault.
