Here we have a short (and fairly dull) Wired article, a link to Google News, a repost, and a bandwidth-exceeded Geocities site. I'm new(ish), but, best of the web?

Well, the main link wasn't a double, just one of the supporting bits, and I've seen enough people [a] piling on to criticize threads and [b] piling onto the pilers-on for criticizing threads in the blue -- that I figured it might be safer to do it here.

It's not a double post since it's about some wacky new news story, and the reposted link is one of the small supporting links. Overall, the post isn't the strongest but I hadn't heard about the news anywhere else. I'll let it slide.
