"Add tags to this post" link not as described

On the page which shows me my FPP in the blue, I see a "add tags to this post?" link for each post. But when I click on that link, even though it's a different URL than the usual link to the post (http://www.metafilter.com/comments_active.mefi/nnnnn rather than http://www.metafilter.com/mefi/nnnnn), it looks the same as the usual thread page, with nowhere to add additional tags.

IE 6.0, Win2K if that makes a difference. Motivated by the fact that I didn't think of the rather obvious "philosophy" tag for this post.

The "add tags to post" option should not be there for stuff that already has tags. I'll fix this.

Though it would be great to be able to go back and fix/add tags.

are we able to edit tags on our own posts yet? i still need to make "new orleans" "neworleans" and "jazz funeral" "jazzfuneral" if possible. thanks.
