The stars are in proper alignment for an East SF Bay meetup on Saturday, April 16, at 5 pm. The place: The Albatross in Berkeley (San Pablo and University).

There's been talk of a no-camera event this time and we have buy-in on the concept from DaShiv, our resident genius photographer. Not only will this give us a chance to better enjoy his coversation (which I will attest, having spent 5 hours in a truck with the man, is at least as good as his photography) it will give those not so thrilled about photocentric meetups a chance to be well met without being globally seen.

Rides from anywhere between campus and the 'Tross are on me.

I'm going to have to switch to "maybe" status. I'm doing some consulting for the CIA and they've told me I might be under surveillance as part of my background check. I need to be careful about going out to bars and such for a little while, at least until they aim the satellite elsewhere.

scarabic undoubtedly found another gig that was more photographically friendly. When scarabic photos go web wide, the panties start flying. scarabic needs these panties, folks. If you want him at your meetup, you've got to agree to photography. Plain and clear as pretzels and beer.
