So within the last two months or so, there was a thread posted to the blue regarding a new 'people search' website. Lots of comments regarding stalking promptly followed. My attempts at searching the archives have failed. Am I imagining this post?

This poor guy has zaba.com (his name), and evidently people end up going to his page all the time, thinking they're going to zabasearch. The funny thing is that he is a privacy/security expert, so he has quite a bit to say about zabasearch.
Actually, I guess in his case, it's not such a bad thing that he gets so many hits on this, since it's actually related to his field.

totally unrelated (but who cares, now that the question is answered), I just had to check up on myself on that site... while it was a bit diconcerting that they knew the month and date of my birthday, the address they had was two moves and over seven years out of date. I am not impressed.

It had my name and several addresses, but my birthdate was 14 years off.

It had my husband's birth year as 1946, instead of 1976. Only slightly off.
