Timezone bug?

did the timezone option JUST stop working in the blue, or has it been busted for a while and i just noticed?

yes i know it doesn't do daylight saving, but it's showing PST despite my preference for EST.

my cookie must have been borked. i saved my prefs, which reset my cookie, which made it work again.
