It occurred to me that there have been a number of threads here (usually anonymously posted) by introverts who don't know how to connect with people. I used to be like this, and though I've improved, I still have my moments of social phobia. At which times, I love getting/sending email. It feels much safer than in-the-face communication. And I know several really smart introverts who are painful in person but who write wonderful letters that are a joy to read.
So I thought I'd offer to set up a mailing list. We can email each other whatever -- thoughts, fears, jokes, ideas, questions. Several people responded to this idea enthusiastically and pointed out that I should post the offer in MetaTalk, since interested parties might have missed the thread.
There is no special agenda here. Just the hope that we can set up a lively exchange and that those of us who are shy will get a little (safe) guaranteed socializing each week.
