I would like a slow pony.

I, question-filled as I am, would love it if I could front-load my AskMeFi questions which are then autoposted at the end of my week's delay. I'd even be happy if that happened a day later (8 days wait)...the important point is that I forget the question I absolutely needed to ask because I'm kind of dumb.

Post your snail-mail address, and I'll mail you a piece of paper.

I once asked this and was reminded me that in a weeks time someone else might ask that question. Though i did like the recent suggestion of a mefi 'scratchpad'...

What the... Send yourself an e-mail, for Pete's sake, or tape a note to the refrigerator!

Pony request: Could somebody think of a smart question once a week and post it for me? kthxbye!

Use your profile page as a scratchpad. Maybe someone who happens to know the answer will stumble across it.

I think the delay might encourage posters to look elsewhere first for their answers, which I think is a good thing. And I think an automatic queue would encourage people to formulate a lot of hypothetical, about-to-be-outdated, or poorly constructed questions, which I think would be a bad thing.

You could use the Wiki for this.

I tried to take ginko. But I kept forgetting to take it.

I would like a pony where we can exchange our AxeMe questions on the free market. Kind of like a AxeMe Kyoto Treaty.

Slow ride, take it easy - Slow ride, take it easy,
Slow ride, take it easy - Slow ride, take it easy.

I'm in the mood, the rhythm is right,
Move to the music, we can roll all night.
Oooh, oooh, slow ride - oooh, oooh ...

Slow ride, take it easy
Slow ride, take it easy

Slow ride, take it easy - Slow ride, take it easy
Slow down, go down, got to get your lovin' one more time
Hold me, roll me, slow ridin' pony you're so fine

{Rod and Dave riffs}
Woo!

I don't think this is likely to be implemented.

Or because you didn't actually absolutely need to ask it?

Here's my question that I forgot about: Who's better, Foghat or Golden Earring? I mean, really, I only know one song from each of them, but I think I prefer Golden Earring on that basis. Since, y'know, jukebox law says I'm only ever gonna hear one song from either of them at any given point.

It may surprise you to learn that AskMe is not the only place on the internet where you can ask questions.

Have you seen this movie?

It contains an important lesson: very bad things happen to people who go out of their way to avoid using their notepad software.

January 20, 2006: It would be nice to have a little place (possibly on one's own user page) where one could work on posts.

Again, try this, this, or this.

I suggest the following:

Dear FutureMe,

Have you gotten the answer to %$#^*&@#% yet? No? Post it to AxMe.

Love and kisses,
