I would like a slow pony.

I, question-filled as I am, would love it if I could front-load my AskMeFi questions which are then autoposted at the end of my week's delay. I'd even be happy if that happened a day later (8 days wait)...the important point is that I forget the question I absolutely needed to ask because I'm kind of dumb.

I once asked this and was reminded me that in a weeks time someone else might ask that question. Though i did like the recent suggestion of a mefi 'scratchpad'...

Use your profile page as a scratchpad. Maybe someone who happens to know the answer will stumble across it.

I think the delay might encourage posters to look elsewhere first for their answers, which I think is a good thing. And I think an automatic queue would encourage people to formulate a lot of hypothetical, about-to-be-outdated, or poorly constructed questions, which I think would be a bad thing.

Here's my question that I forgot about: Who's better, Foghat or Golden Earring? I mean, really, I only know one song from each of them, but I think I prefer Golden Earring on that basis. Since, y'know, jukebox law says I'm only ever gonna hear one song from either of them at any given point.
