St. Louis meetup (weekend of 3/9-3/11).

St. Louis meetup? C'mon! As far as I know it's been over a year. That one was actually pretty decent. Let's shoot for sometime on the weekend of March 9, 10, 11 (plenty of notice here so there's no need for shitty excuses). Throw out some times and places and then we can sort it out by vote. I volunteer to be a pseudo-organizer and tie-breaker. I'm committed, notsnot has committed (maybe he'll drag along Green Eyed Monster). Will pieoverdone show up (it's been way too long, you know)? Who else, who else? Eriko, Bradlands, Phat Lobley, kdern, limeonaire, crapulent, jedicus? C'mon guys and girls you know you want to come! I'll suggest NOT doing this at Erato but somewhere else that we can definitely imbibe and that also has a good selection for those of us that don't drink alcohol. Good food is a plus. What else?

Either weekend would work for me, although the 10th is better as the missus will be out of town.

Any of pieoverdone's suggestions sound good. There's also Mangia Italiano on Grand, which I think meets all of the above requirements. (Plus, it's within walking distance!)

If this ends up happening near grand, I'd probably turn up. I'm not a voracious poster, but I live in that area. Black Thorn is great (and 3 blocks from my home).

The only concern I have with Black Thorn is time. The place is tiny, and even on a slow night it takes at least an hour to get your food.

Meetup is now on MeTa front page. We're gonna go ahead with the Black Thorn, since it's close to a lot of people, and, hey, Pizza!

Horseblind and I plan to be there around 5:30 or six. If we can get a large table downstairs, we will, or maybe take it upstairs to the Fred bar. We'll call the official meetup time 7:00, if you want to order pizza, you will want to come earlier - a deepdish pizza can take an hour on a slow night, longer on a busy night.

Six or seven, yes. I dont' know how busy it's going to be. I will be ordering a pizza for Green Eyed Monster and myself, to be delivered at 7:30. I imagine that I'll have to order at 6 to accomplish that. So, those that want to eat, likely need to be more like six than seven.

That's the blackthorn off grand, not the one down south on Gravois.
