Have the recent changes included removing the "B | I | Link" buttons from the comment boxes? (Because they're gone).

I'm running Firefox 1.0 (Debian package 1.0+dfsg.1-2) on Linux and removed cookies. The lose isn't a big deal for me, but I'm fluent with HTML whereas others may not be.

Bold, Italic and link buttons present and accounted for in the blue, the green and the grey. Using Firefox 1.0, running WinXP SP2.

Hmmm, a good chance it's my system, then. I think there was a new build of Firefox released--that may have broke whatever widget Matt uses. Does anyone know how the buttons are created? If it's something with FF, I'll go file a bug for it on bugzilla.

Hm.
I'm on Mac OS 10.3.7, using Safari, and I've NEVER seen those buttons. Granted, I've only been a member for a few months, but still. News to me.

Firefox on an OSX G5 10.3.5; I can see them.

I think this is a browser issue, on my old version of FF those buttons here and the same buttons on my MT-powered blog entry page didn't appear, but when I upgraded they came back.

Firefox/Windows 2000, they're not there anymore (they were).

Firefox/Win2K and I still have them. Weird.

I don't see them in Safari, either - but they are there in Firefox. OS X 10.3.7

WinXP running FF1.0 (installed last week) and the buttons are all there.

The buttons have never worked in Safari. Matt is aware of this and I believe it is a Safari issue that may someday get fixed [maybe w/Tiger?].

OK for me using FF1.0/Linux build from mozilla.org. Maybe it's an issue with the Debian build?

Might be... I'm using Firefox 1.0/Debian right now, the buttons are there, but one of them appeared as a broken image rather than an I just now, then changed back upon scrolling. Freaky.

arto, I have the same problem on a spare ibook running firefox 1.0. It seems that all interlaced GIFs are messed up.

These buttons do not show up in Opera 8.0b or in the previous 7.0 version. They do however show up on Firefox 1.0...

They don't show up in Opera or Safari or any old version of IE or Netscape due to a lack of javascript support.
