To write the ampersand in   one has to use &.

So to write   you would have to write   .

Note that when you hit preview your & will be eaten, so you may wish to use copy/paste accordingly.

If you have a PC, you can also do this by holding down the alt key and pressing 255 on the number keypad (not the numbers above the alpha keys).

Speaking of BSE, I saw headlines claiming the USDA is repressing reports of mad cow outbreaks. Given how lousy the US meat inspection system is (judging by the number of investigative reports that say so), this doesn't surprise me.

An explanation for when none is necessary, in the hope of alleviating the suspicion that I am a virus viral marketing campaign.

Up until recently I could not post as the elegent code that matt had designed would not allow my... unique name to get through the posting system.

However, since the implementation of the forced-preview method, my name is now allowed to post. I only noticed this recently.

I have spent too much time on the blue, so instead I am here to answer people's questions and hopefully give helpful advice along the way. Thank you all for noticing the obviously splendid job I am doing so far.

Shouldn't the ColdFusion equivalent of the ASP Server.HTMLEncode function fix this kind of problem?
