Looking for a old solo musician post
I'm trying to find an old music post (not within the past year, but not more than a few years old) featuring a Youtube video of a solo female singer playing a sort of folky song on an acoustic guitar on her porch. Modern (not some old forgotten artist). For some reason I think she was in Texas. I think she had short hair. I think it was an original song. Other than I that I'm drawing blanks...

I could swear that I read a sad comment on this site not so long ago from a female Mefite that ran along the lines of "When I was a kid I wanted to play bass guitar but I was told I couldn't because bass was 'only for boys'. I gave up the bass." [more inside]
