Does "Christ, what an asshole" count as an "In Joke"?

Does "Christ, what an asshole" count as an "In Joke"? Someone posted that comment - not about me, I hope - in my last thread. And when I saw it again in a thread from today, I teasingly called it a "double". Then I belatedly realized that it's something of a tradition. [Apparently, I am not aware of all Internet traditions.]

I hadn't thought to check the In Jokes page on the MeFi Wiki first. But it any case, it's not there. I know I can add it myself. But before taking action, I thought I'd do a spot poll to see whether people think it belongs there.

AskMe orthography

Copied from a comment on AskMe: "TEH PORNZ IS SEEKRIT." Why didn't the commenter say "The porn is secret." Is this thought to be a funny way to write? (OK, make fun of me now.)

Oh noes!

A crucial piece of Mefi social commentary has disappeared. Will it ever be seen again? I wanted to send an acquaintance of mine the infamous Metafilter Safety Guide created by fandango_matt. Unfortunately, while the original still exists, the edited version has vanished from the internets. Unfortunately-er, Google and Coral cache come up empty-handed, while Archive.org throws up some odd error about the site using "an invalid or unsupported form of compression."

Is there any other place on the web where the comic can still be found?

What's a "rickroll"?

It's not me, it's the NyQuil asking, but -- I tried the FAQ. I tried Mefi Wiki. Couldn't find it, and I'd be losing sleep over this if it weren't for the NyQuil that's doping me up to the gills (and probably reducing my judgement to the point that I'm writing this note.)

Injokes on the wiki

I for one welcome our injoking overlords. Now I feel all caught up. Don't get an injoke? Look it up. Is this useful? Does it make the injokes more or less funny? Is the community better or worse for this listing account of injokes at MeFiWiki? Does part of the humor involve an illusion of elitism? Does Matt dislike all injokes or just some of them? Most of them? Will he buy me a pony? What do you, the viewers at home, think? psst! go cubs!

I'm getting tired of the increasing tendency to add "filter.com" as an implied criticism of the theme of a thread or post, e.g. in this thread we start off with two - northkoreafilter.com and iranfilter.com. I must say, posting in these threads, I've never felt so alive.
